Tunisia issues tender for 225,000 tons of soft and durum wheat and 125,000 t barley

European traders reported on Wednesday that Tunisia’s state grain agency has issued a tender to purchase 125,000 metric tons of soft milling wheat, 100,000 tons of durum wheat, and 125,000 tons of feed barley.

The origin is optional, and the deadline for submitting price offers is Thursday, December 11. The aim is to ship all grains by 2026.

Wheat is sought in five 25,000-ton shipments for shipment between January 15 and March 5 depending on the origin provided.

Durum in four consignments of 25,000 tons is required for shipment between January 5, and February 20, depending on the origin provided.

Five 25,000-ton consignments of barley are required for shipment between January 10, and March 20, depending on the origin.

In the previous tender reported on November 13, Tunisia’s state grains agency purchased around 125,000 tons of soft wheat and approximately 100,000 tons of durum wheat.
