President of the Arab Institute of Business Managers (IACE), Amine Ben Ayed, announced that the 39th edition of the Business Days will be held from December 11 to 13 in Sousse, under the theme: “Business and the New Economic Order.”
Ben Ayed explained to Expresso on Wednesday that the global economic landscape has undergone profound changes since Trump’s election, affecting governance, economic legislation, and the emergence of new actors and priorities. According to him, this marks the beginning of the formation of a new global economic order.
He emphasized that Tunisia is not immune to these complex and multidimensional transformations, which require national businesses to review their strategies and operational models.
He added that rapid international changes create new challenges and opportunities in markets, investment, international relations, and technological development, with visible effects on political and social systems.
Ben Ayed also noted that companies today are more than ever required to adapt to changes driven by technology and artificial intelligence by repositioning themselves, seizing future opportunities, supporting digital transformation, and developing human and technological skills.
He viewed artificial intelligence as a major opportunity for Tunisia.
The Business Days serve as a major annual forum bringing together economic actors and experts to discuss economic and development issues at national, regional, and international levels, and to formulate practical recommendations. This year’s edition will cover themes aligned with its slogan, including technological development, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence, as well as sustainability, climate change, globalization, and the impact of global conflicts and disruptions on the economy.
