The average Money Market Rate (MMR) went up in July to 7.02%, from 7.01% in June.
The MMR, it should be recalled, rose in June above the 7% mark for the first time since March 2020, due to the increase in the key rate of the BCT decided on May 17.
It was below that mark in last May when it stood at 6.6%, as against 6.19% in January, 6.25% in February and 6.26% in March and April.
