KPIT Technologies, an automotive software and mobility engineering firm, has opened a new software engineering centre in Sfax, Tunisia.
This move is set to strengthen the company’s delivery capabilities and accelerate innovation within the mobility ecosystem.
Senior leaders from the Tunisian automotive sector, investment authorities, universities and KPIT’s leadership attended the opening ceremony.
KPIT Technologies CTO Anup Sablesaid: “Mobility leaders around the world are navigating complex transformations—dynamic trade environment, needing to innovate at speed and scale while substantially saving costs.
“Our new centre in Tunisia will be developed as a centre of excellence to drive innovation in propulsion software, vehicle network development, validation and further expand in other domains. The centre will also become strategic to deliver for European OEMs with location and timezone advantages for agility and scale.”
This initiative not only benefits the local talent pool but also bolsters the prospects for the over 500 KPIT employees already based in Tunisia, enabling them to collaborate closely with OEMs.
