Tunisia: Land’Or improves its half-year revenues by 7% to over 80 million dinars

The company Land’Or achieved a 7% growth in sales, at the end of the first half of 2022, compared to the same period of 2021, to 81 million dinars.

Thanks to a diversified offer based on innovative and targeted products and a proactive commercial policy, the company continues to acquire new market shares resulting in a +21% growth of its local turnover to 62.6 million dinars.

As for export sales in the first half of 2022, they have declined by 24% compared to the same period of 2021, mainly due to the start of production at the Moroccan plant as well as the unstable security situation in Libya.

The value of production has seen a growth of 12% At the end of June 2022, compared to the same period of 2021. This development is linked mainly to the significant increase in prices of basic raw materials and packaging, which are reaching records in a context marked by a phenomenon of scarcity on a global scale.

The company has made investments of about 19.7 million dinars during the first half of 2022.

In addition, the company reported a debt of 26.9 million dinars compared to a debt of 16.2 million on December 31, 2021 and a debt of 5.7 million on June 30, 2021. This rise is mainly attributable to a change in net cash due to a cyclical increase in working capital requirements (WCR).
