The Tunisian e-procurement system (TUNEPS) was launched as part of a cooperation project between Tunisia and South Korea.
The commissioning of this project will involve, in a first step, 9 pilot sites, four ministries (Prime Ministry, Ministries of Education, Information and Communication Technology and Public Works) and five public enterprises (STEG, the Tunisian Post, ONAS ARRU, SONEDE).
It will, in a second step, be generalized to other public purchasers.
TUNEPS is funded by a donation of $ 5.7 million, granted by the Korean International Cooperation Agency to Tunisia as part of a cooperation project concluded in 2008.
TUNEPS was carried out in collaboration with a specialized Korean company (Samsung SDS) and several Tunisian companies.
