Tunisia: Libyan debt to clinics exceed 100 million dinars

In a statement to the newspaper “The Maghreb” Khaled Nabli, President of the Tunisian Chamber of Private Clinics said health care debts of Libyan patients to Tunisian private clinics Tunisian exceed 100 million dinars.

These liabilities concern nearly 35 clinics spread over the various governorates of the Republic, he added.

The Libyan government announced that it has decided to pay part of the bill for patients treated in Tunisian private clinics.

A budget of 1 million and 862 thousand dinars from the budget of the Libyan Ministry of Health for 2015 has been reserved to settle the financial situation.
