Tunisia: Libyan exports suspended for a week

The Libyan authorities have decided to suspend the export of goods towards Tunisia through the Ras Ajdir border crossing during a week in order to find a solution with Libyan traders who do not have legal authorization, reports Jawhara FM .

The Libyan authorities had also decided since Monday, January 19, 2015, to apply a new tax on the Libyan and Tunisian merchants.

This measure was immediately canceled after protests and negotiations with the parties concerned, reports the same source.
