Tunisia: Ministry of Commerce announce creation of ‘’virtual market place’’

The Ministry of Commerce has announced the creation of a “virtual market place” that can host sites of more than 200 Tunisian exporting companies.

This portal targets companies that wish to further publicize their products to overseas customers online, including handicraft, food and service products.

Note that this project is funded by the World Bank and the Geneva-based International Trade Centre (ITC). It will provide an opportunity to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) unable to participate in international exhibitions to promote their products and access international markets, in a short time and at lower cost.
