The number of Tunisians hired in the framework of technical cooperation has reached 19,327 guest workers until 31 July, most of whom work in Arab countries, the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation (ATCT) reported on its website.
The Arab countries occupy the first position in the recruitment of Tunisians with 14,198, followed by Europe with 2,640 guest workers, America 1,436 hires and Africa with 333.
Most work in the health and education sectors, the source said.
Qatar ranks first in recruitment last July, with 188 hires followed by Saudi Arabia (166), France (131), African countries (91), Germany (89) and Canada (75).
