Tunisia: multi-sector exploration mission in Mali January 25-28

The Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC) is organizing, in collaboration with its partners (CONECT International and UPMI) and with the support of Tunisia’s embassy in Bamako, a multi-sector prospecting mission in Mali from January 25 to 28, 2016.

 The program of this event includes very high levels meetings with ministers and senior officials of the Malian government and the local business operators.

 An organizing committee was set up by the Ministry of Investment Promotion and Private Sector in Mali, with the participation of the Chamber of Commerce and the employers’ organization in Mali to prepare the mission according to the requirements and needs of members of the delegation.

 Targeted networking meetings will be scheduled as well as company visits.

 Alongside this mission, an economic forum will be held Monday, January 25, 2016. It will be co-chaired by the Minister of Investment Promotion and Private Sector and the Minister of Trade and Industry of Mali with “presentation of the investment opportunities in Mali “by the Director General of the Agency for Investment Promotion, Mr. Moussa TOURE Ismaïla and” the presentation of the business climate in Mali “by the Head of the Technical Unit of Business Climate Reforms (CTRCA), Mrs. Keita Zeinabou SACKO.

The Tunisian delegation will be headed by Bassem LOUKIL, President of TABC, Adnen BOUASSIDA (Vice President) will represent CONECT International and Amer ABDENNADHER (Vice President) will represent UPMI.

The Tunisian delegation includes 30 businessmen from several sectors, namely mechanical and electrical industries, metallurgy, food processing, higher education, health, infrastructure and construction, telecommunications and building materials.
