The rate of bookings in hotel units in Hammamet and Nabeul varies between 50 and 100% for the evening celebrating the New Year, said regional tourism commissioner, Ezzedine Grami.
The majority of bookings are made by European and Algerian tourists as well as by Tunisians, he added.
The hotel units in the tourist areas of Nabeul and Hammamet are 124 in total with an overall capacity of 41,435 beds.
