Minister of Tourism, Salma Elloumi Rekik said the number of tourists who visited Tunisia from earlier this year until September 10, 2015 was 4 million tourists, down one million tourists compared to the year 2014.
She also indicated that only 413 hotels are operating in the country while it has almost 600 hotel units.
Nearly 2 million tourist nights were canceled since the terrorist attack at a hotel in Sousse, while more than 200,000 tourists have given up coming to Tunisia.
