“OfficePlast”, a company operating in plastics industries, will open its first agency in Africa, namely in Côte d’Ivoire, in January 2017, announced, its CEO, Yassine Abid.
Speaking at a financial communication event organized Thursday at the headquarters of the Tunis Stock Exchange, he added that this is a first step towards an industrial establishment in Africa.
Abid said a memorandum of understanding had been signed with the French “Bureau Vallée” brand, specializing in office supplies and which now has a sales area of 130,000 m2 on 270 franchised stores in several countries, including France, Portugal, Belgium, Spain and Morocco.
The franchise agreement foresees the opening of 3 outlets in 2017, the ambition being to reach in the medium term 25 stores in the different regions of Tunisia, he pointed out.
The aim is to promote the company’s sales on the local and export market and diversify the activities of OfficePlast.
