A new office of Tunisian tourism was inaugurated on Thursday in The Hague, Netherlands by Jamel Gamra, Minister of Tourism, in the presence of several Tunisian and foreign professionals.
This new structure will consolidate the recovery of the Tunisian tourism market that has recorded one of the largest declines in Tunisia after the revolution, said a press release.
The Dutch market has significant tourism provider potential with eight million departures on vacation per year. Tunisia attracts only 2% of this flow with 75,000 visitors recorded in 2010. In 2011, there were only 28,000, down over 60%. For the first five months of 2013, there are only 20,000.
