The Export Promotion Centre is organizing for the fourth consecutive time Tunisia’s official participation in the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry “MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS 2016” which takes place from February 22 to 25 in Barcelona with more than 2,000 exhibitors coming to present their offers and technological solutions on a surface of 100,000 m2 and 93,000 trade visitors expected from more than 200 countries,
On an area of 74m² located in the heart of hall 5 of the Fira Gran Via, the Tunisian pavilion includes besides CEPEX, 11 participants including 3 public bodies (the Elgazala Techno Park, and the National Agency of e-Certification and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency) and 8 companies specializing in the most innovative advanced technologies: Mobile Web development software; integration solutions and mobile applications covering major smartphones on the market; network testing and IP telephony security; mobile banking, Internet of things, digital entertainment objects and solutions; engineering applications in financial services, telecommunications and automotive solutions of Business Intelligence.
Some foreign contractors and representatives of mobile phone companies have visited the pavilion to build contact with the different Tunisian participants and discuss possible business opportunities.
These relationships and contacts strengthen the position of Tunisia as a technological destination to host activities with high added value and enable Tunisian exhibitors to showcase their expertise and knowledge to promote the installation of collaborative innovative projects.
Kamel Saadawi Chief of Staff of the Minister of Communication Technology and the Digital Economy, visited the Tunisian pavilion accompanied by Marwen Ben Said, Adviser to the ICT and Digital Economy Minister and learnt about the different solutions presented by Tunisian exhibitors and opportunities offered during this participation.
