Prices for the Omra vary from one agency to another, mainly depending on the level of services offered to the pilgrim The Director of Hajj and Omra at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Kamel Azzouz, explained, in a statement to Mosaïque FM, on Tuesday, August 4.
He specified that some providers offer accommodation in luxurious hotels close to the Sacred Mosque, which naturally increases the costs, while others offer accommodation that is further away or of a lower category, at more affordable prices.
Azzouz added that all procedures for the Omra season this year go through the electronic platform “Nusuk”, under the authority of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Omra.
According to him, this is a major organizational advancement, allowing all the trip details to be known in advance, such as the hotel stay or the transportation company in Mecca and Medina.
This ensures, according to him, that the Tunisian pilgrim can fully benefit from their rights.
For his part, Sami Saïdane, Vice-President of the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies, stated in the same radio station that the 2025–2026 Omra season, officially launched last Saturday, is expected to see a cost increase of around 10%, due to the annual rise in airline ticket prices and visa fees.
