The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has published its latest report on human development in the world.
In Africa, 3 out of 54 countries managed to be ranked in the group of developed countries (high development); they are Mauritius, Seychelles and Algeria. Tunisia was ranked 5th in Africa and 96th worldwide.
14 countries are ranked among moderately developed countries, including Libya (4), Egypt (7), Gabon (8th), Morocco (11th) or also Congo (13th).
Among the less developed countries, there is Côte d’Ivoire (37th) despite its unexpected economic success, as well as Mali, Chad and Burkina Faso.
