The number of projects reported in the manufacturing sector has reached 1535 in the first half of 2022, against 1730 during the same period of 2021, a decrease of 11.3%, according to the latest newsletter of the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII).
These projects will, once completed, create 23,495 jobs, against 23,331 jobs in the first six months of the year 2021, up 0.7%.
In general, reported investments in the manufacturing sector reached 1,041.7 MD, against 1,310.8 MD in the first six months of 2021, recording a 20.5% decline.
