Tunisia: Royal Luxembourg still keen to invest in country

Salvatore Cugliari, CEO of Royal Luxembourg, the Luxembourg-Italian company specialized in equity investment and acquisition of European companies in difficulty for their relocation, explained, on Express FM, the company’s reaction to the decision of the Central Bank of Tunisia to reject its purchase, under a provisional agreement, of 13% of the capital of the “Banque de Tunisie” and its replacement by the « Banque fédérative du Crédit mutuel » (BFCM).

He described as “gratuitous” the accusations made by the Tunisians on the opacity of the group and said that Royal Luxembourg is still interested in investing in Tunisia.

He announced that his group intends to relocate to Tunisia, by the end of January 2013, four companies operating in the bus assembly, automotive components (smart key for cars) and waste recycling.
