Tunisia: sales down 9% in Loukil’s AMS

The company “Ateliers Mécaniques du Sahel” (AMS) reported a gross turnover of 8.167 MTD at the end of the third quarter of 2013, against 8.966 MTD during the same period in 2012, down 9%, according to the latest figures from the company.

This decrease is explained mainly by the delay in billing markets of SONEDE and SNDP (disruptions recorded in July and August) and a fall in sales at export.

To September 30 this year, the value of finished production reached 24.980 MTD compared to 24.386 MTD for the same period of 2012, thus posting a slight increase of 2%.

The debt of the company stood at 22.413 MTD to end September 2013 against 23.129 MTD on September 30, 2012, down 3%.
