Tunisia: SANIMED posts double-digit growth in 2017

SANIMED continued its momentum in the fourth quarter of 2017, reporting once again double-digit revenue growth.
The company announced last year a total turnover of 38.2 million dinars growth of 18% over 2016, driven by local sales up 5% to 25.2 million dinars but also and especially by exports up 55% to 13 million dinars.
The fourth quarter of 2017 further confirms the revival of export sales with a growth rate of 52%.
The annual turnover represents 93% of the annual global turnover (40.9 million) foreseen in the business plan (2016-2020) and presented in the IPO prospectus.
As for production, it recorded an increase of 17% in 2017 compared to 2016 to reach 30.3 million dinars.
Investments totaled 8.3 million dinars in 2017against 6.6 million a year earlier. These investments are part of the automation of production lines.
Bank commitments stood to 43.4 million dinars at the end of last December against a total of 47.1 million at the same date in 2016, i.e. a decrease of 8%.
