Tunisia: SANIMED reports net loss of over 2 million dinars in H1

The company SANIMED has published its interim financial statements as of June 30, 2022. These statements show a net loss of 2.1 million dinars, against a profit of 1.8 million in the first half of 2021.

The company has stabilized its half-year revenues compared to those achieved last year at 34.6 million dinars.

On the other hand, the operating expenses stood at 33.7 million dinars, against 30.2 million at the end of June 2021, a growth of 12%.

As a result, the operating result fell by 77% to 1 million dinars, against 4.5 million in the first half of last year. The net financial expenses have risen to 3 million dinars, against 2.3 million at the end of June 2021.

In addition, the company was victim of a fire on May 8, 2022 which damaged the stock stored in the warehouse. The value of the damaged stock was determined at 4.4 million dinars. The amount of compensation is not yet agreed with the stakeholders.
