Tunisia: SOTUVER achieves historic performance at end of September

The SOTUVER announced to have achieved a cumulative turnover of about 116.6 million dinars, as of September 30, 2022, against 77 million dinars on the same date in 2021, up 51%.

These revenues far exceed the annual achievements of the fiscal year 2021 (107 million dinars). The company notes that this cumulative growth in sales across all markets will continue over the rest of the year benefiting from a sustained demand on all channels for glass packaging.

The value of production recorded a substantial increase of 32% to 108.5 million dinars, against 82 million as of September 30, 2021, a historic performance exceeding all annual achievements of previous years.

The overall indebtedness posted a slight rise of 1% from 75.2 million dinars as of December 31, 2021 to 76 million dinars as of September 30. Investments and liquidities stabilized compared to the end of the previous year to 45.7 million dinars.

As a result, net debt rose from 29.5 million dinars at December 31, 2021 to 30.2 million dinars at the end of September 2022, up 2.6%.

In addition, the investments made as of September 30, 2022 amount to 7.4 million dinars and concern mainly the acquisition of new equipment and the revision of a production line.
