Tunisia: second Speedtest server goes operational

Localhost Meninx Technologies, the first neutral Data Center in Tunisia recently put into production the second test server of Speedtest.net network (of American Ookla Company) for Tunisia.

Similarly with the first launched in 2011 in the Tunisian Internet Agency in Tunis, this new test platform will allow inhabitants of the central and south region of the country to have a relay geographically closer to them to check their speed and ping.

Hosted in Enfidha, Sousse governorate, this server is to route the Internet user in his diagnosis when he detects a slow connection. It may, thus, test the connection first in Tunisia, then in a foreign server and detect therefore the defaulting party (national or international connection).

This free service will be strengthened in the coming days by a second free service of Ookla Company: The Pingtest.

Note that localhost is a hosting and .tn domain names registration service certified by ATI. It is affiliated with the THD service SARL company.
