Tunisia: SFBT announces more than 840 million dinars in revenue in 2025

Société de Fabrication des Boissons de Tunisie (SFBT) has published its activity indicators for the 2025 fiscal year. The company reports a total turnover excluding taxes of 843.3 million dinars, compared to 836.5 million a year earlier, a slight increase of 1%.

Local soft drinks generated 183.9 million dinars in turnover during the past year, compared to 193.9 million in 2024, a decline of 5%. Soft drink exports also fell by 24% to 19 million dinars.

Conversely, local beer continued its growth with a turnover of 604 million dinars, compared to 582.7 million at the end of December 2024, recording an increase of 3.6%. Beer exports, although representing a marginal share of the total, saw a slight decline of 3.2% to 4.8 million dinars.

In terms of volume, beer sales increased by 2.3% to 176.7 million liters, compared to 172.1 million liters a year earlier.

As for soft drinks, the quantities sold show a decrease of around 4.7% to 112.6 million liters in 2025.

According to the company, the decline in soft drink sales is partly explained by a change in billing methods.

Indeed, the Charguia plant no longer directly sells all products, as certain volumes are now billed through a subsidiary, SGBIA (boxes and PET).

This accounting change artificially reduces the parent company’s turnover without reflecting an actual decline in the group’s activity.

Furthermore, in 2025, investments amounted to 35.7 million dinars, compared to 28.7 million in 2024, focused mainly on the purchase of industrial equipment and returnable packaging.
