Tunisia and Sierra Leone , on Monday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in energy.
The agreement was signed during the official visit of Minister of Energy of Sierra Leone Henry Olufumi Laccauley to Tunisia .
At a press briefing on the occasion, Minister of Energy Mongi Marzouk said the MoU is an opportunity to develop partnership relations with Sierra Leone in the energy field.
The agreement comes at a timely moment as Tunisia is negotiating with Sierra Leone two contracts, one on a project in the field of protection for an amount of $ 4.5 million, and another on the operation and maintenance of thermal centers for $ 0.5 million.
The Minister of Energy of Sierra Leone has placed emphasis on this protocol which will promote the economy, based mainly on energy.
