In a statement Monday, the ministry said it projects a production of nearly 150 thousand tons of olive oil, from 340 thousand tons in the previous season.
The ministry added that the olive picking season (2015/2016) has recorded a progress of 40%
Olive oil exports reached nearly 6,700 tons in November 2015 (for the season 2015/2016), against 9 thousand tons in the same period last year.
