SOMOCER recorded a 34% decrease in total revenues in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period of the previous year, to 16.4 million dinars.
Sales on the local market amounted to 13.4 million dinars, compared to 23.2 million dinars at the end of March 2023, a decrease of 42.2%.
Export sales increased by 81.6% to 3 million dinars, compared to 1.6 million dinars in the first quarter of 2023.
Production in the quarter fell by 56.8% to 12.1 million dinars, compared with 28.1 million dinars in Q1 2023.
