SOTEMAIL achieved sales of TND 32.6 million in the first half of the current year, compared to 31.3 million dinars in the same period of the previous year, an increase of 4%.
This increase was driven by the local market (which accounts for 83% of total sales), where sales rose by around 6% to 27.5 million dinars.
As for the export market, sales will decline by 5% from TND 5.4 million in 2022 to TND 5.1 million in 2023.
According to the company, this decrease will be compensated during the rest of the year in accordance with the production plan.
The value of production stagnated completely in the first half of the year, reaching TND 30.2 million. Investments in the first quarter amounted to TND 679 thousand, mainly for the maintenance of production tools.
Balance sheet debt increased by 13% from TND 33.5 million at June 30, 2022 to TND 37.8 million at June 30, 2023. Long- and medium-term debt represented 45.2% of total balance sheet commitments as of June 30, 2023.
