Tunisia: SOTRAPIL sees 9.85% growth in revenues in 2024

In 2024, the revenues of SOTRAPIL, the company responsible for transporting hydrocarbons by pipeline, increased by 9.85% to 16.5 million dinars, compared with 15 million dinars in 2023.

At the end of December 2024, SOTRAPIL transported 1.76 million m3 of hydrocarbons, compared with 1.61 million m3 in 2023, an increase of 9.44%, according to the company’s provisional indicators published by the Tunis Stock Exchange.

This increase is explained by the 9.44% increase in hydrocarbons transported via the Bizerte/Rades pipeline and the 9.38% increase in volumes transported via the Jet A1 pipeline (Rades-Tunis-Carthage).

The company’s operating expenses decreased by 4.18% to 9.1 million dinars compared to 9.5 million dinars in 2023.

This decrease is mainly due to a 13.38% reduction in other operating expenses and a 3% reduction in personnel expenses.
