The “Société Tunisienne des Marchés de Gros” (SOTUMAG) has published its activity indicators for the third quarter of the current year.
These indicators show a 9% growth in turnover for the first nine months of the year, to reach 12.3 million dinars, compared to 11.3 million at the end of September 2019.
This increase is mainly due to the rise in income from the provision of services which amounted to 9.3 million dinars, compared to 8.8 million a year earlier, a growth of 5.6%.
These revenues represent 76% of the company’s overall turnover.
As for total expenses, they went up 11.6% to 8.3 million dinars, compared to 7.4 million at the end of September 2019, following the increase in operating expenses by 4.5% to 7 million dinars including 5.3 million related to personnel costs (+5).
The gross margin rate rose from 26.7% at the end of September 2019 to 22.4% at the end of the first nine months of the current year.
