The Tunisian Glass Company (SOTUVER) announced the start of production of its new subsidiary SOTUVER GLASS INDUSTRIES (SGI), specialized in the production of glass food packaging.
This new factory will double the annual production capacity of the SOTUVER group, and will make it possible to meet the significant demands on a national and international scale, the company said in a press release published on the website of the Tunis Stock Exchange.
SOTUVER had previously announced a 49% increase in its turnover to 159.9 million dinars (MD) in 2022, compared to 2021.
The turnover of the local market has increased by 40% to 64.4 MD, while the import revenues have risen by 55% to 95.6 MD.
