Tunisia: SOTUVER increases half-year net profit by 24% to 21 million dinars

The Société Tunisienne de Verreries (SOTUVER) has just published its interim financial statements for the six months ended June 30, 2023. These accounts show a half-year net profit of 21.1 million dinars, compared with 17 million at the end of June 2022, representing a growth of 24%.

The company generated revenues of 82.4 million dinars in the first half of the year, compared with 79.7 million dinars a year earlier, an increase of 3.3%, while operating expenses were virtually unchanged at 58.9 million dinars at the end of June, compared with 58.5 million dinars a year earlier.

As a result, the half-year operating profit increased by 10.7% to 23.5 million dinars, compared to 38.9 million dinars in the first half of last year.

In addition, financial expenses went up from 3.3 million dinars in June 2022 to 4.7 million dinars last June, while income from investments amounted to 3 million dinars compared to 1 million dinars last year.
