The Société Tunisienne des Marchés de Gros (SOTUMAG) has published its interim financial statements for the six months to June 30, 2023, which show a net profit of 3.8 million dinars, compared with 3.4 million dinars at the end of June 2022, an increase of 11.8%.
The public company generated sales of 8.5 million dinars in the first half of the year, compared with 7.8 million dinars a year earlier, an increase of around 8%.
Operating expenses rose from 5 million dinars in June 2022 to 5.4 million dinars last June, an increase of around 10%.
As a result, operating profit rose by 6% to 3 million dinars, compared with 2.9 million dinars in the first half of 2022.
