The Tunisian Tire Industry Company (STIP) has just published its activity indicators for the fourth quarter of last year.
The indicators show an annual turnover of TND 139.1 million, compared to TND 147.6 million in 2022, a decrease of 5.7%.
This decline is due to the fact that revenue from sales on the local market fell by 11% between December 2022 and December last year, from TND 125.6 million to TND 111.2 million.
On the other hand, exports increased by 25% to TND 27.8 million from TND 22.3 million a year earlier.
As for production (in terms of volume), it fell by 11% to 11,179 tons at the end of December last year, compared to 12,553 tons at the same time in 2022.
In addition, the company’s bank liabilities stood at TND 89.2 million at the end of 2023.
