The stock market recorded its third consecutive bearish session on Wednesday. The benchmark index slipped 0.13% to 11,792.5 points, in a modest trading volume of 6.2 million dinars, according to analysis by broker Tunisie Valeurs.
The stock SOTUMAG posted the best performance of the session. In a thin flow of 89 thousand dinars, the share of the wholesale market operator of Bir El Kassaâ soared by 6% to 8.360 dinars.
TUNISIE LEASING & FACTORING was among the session’s top gainers. The share of Tunisia’s leading leasing company rose by 1.9% to 32.4 dinars, with a modest trading volume of 102 thousand dinars.
DELICE HOLDING ended the session on a gloomy note. The share of the national dairy products leader dropped by 3.8% to 12.110 dinars, with transactions reaching 208 thousand dinars during the session.
CARTHAGE CEMENT also had a negative performance. The cement producer’s stock declined by 2.1% to 1.9 dinars, feeding the market with 1.1 million dinars in capital.
SFBT topped the session’s volume ranking. The share of the soft drinks and alcoholic beverages specialist rose by 0.5% to 12.150 dinars, amassing a solid flow of 1.8 million dinars.
