Swiss funds of more than 6 million dinars are allocated to finance development projects in five regions in southern Tunisia.
In a statement to TAP correspondent, Swiss Ambassador Peter Combernous, indicated that two million dinars will be allocated to the construction of six schools in the regions of Medenine and Tataouine.
The rest will be invested in the creation of micro-projects, in collaboration with the Bank for Financing Small and Medium Enterprises in five southern regions, including Medenine and Tataouine.
Attending the first anniversary of the celebration of the honorary consulate of Switzerland in Djerba, Combernous announced the creation of an office in Medenine to monitor the Swiss support program, in coordination with various stakeholders.
