A Tunisian state buyer has launched an international tender for the purchase of the grain, with shipments expected for May from optional origins, Reuters quoted European traders as saying.
Price negotiations are currently ongoing, and the deadline for submitting bids was Friday, April 17.
Traders reported that the lowest offer stood at $266.65 per ton (cost and freight included), submitted by Ameropa, although no purchase has yet been confirmed, according to the same source.
The information reflects traders’ assessments and both final prices and volumes remain subject to change.
