Investments in the tourism sector fell by 50% in 2012, compared with the previous years, said Elyes Fakhfakh, Minister of Tourism at a press conference held on Friday in Tunis.
This decrease is explained, according to the Minister, by the economic and political instability underwent by Tunisia today, increasing debt and lack of major projects due to the lack of entrepreneurs.
What exist now in Tunisia are alternative projects, said the Minister.
