Tunisia’s tourism revenues had reached a record level of 6.65 billion dinars, by December 10, far exceeding their all-time high (measured in dinars) for the whole of 2019 (5.6 billion dinars).
Compared to their level on December 10, 2022, tourism receipts have increased by 29%.
In euro terms, tourism revenues up to December 10, totaled 1.98 billion euro (average annual rate on the interbank market: 1 euro = 3.3561 dinars).
In terms of visitor numbers, according to the Ministry of Tourism, 2023 will be better than any other year, with more than 9 million visitors expected.
