Tourism receipts have fallen by 64% to 1.9 billion dinars from the beginning of the year until December 20, according to financial indicators published by the Central Bank of Tunisia on Thursday.
These indicators also showed a 23% decline in the overall volume of refinancing to 8.7 billion dinars as of 23 December.
As for total interbank transactions, they went up 22% to 1.5 billion dinars, according to the BCT.
The money market rate, for its part, has decreased to 6.11%, against 7.81% in December 2019.
