Tunisia’s tourism earnings reached 2 billion dinars during the first ten months of 2016, which corresponds to a decrease of -7.1% compared with the same period of 2015 and a fall of -36.2% compared to 2014, despite the increase in arrivals and overnight stays.

According to the statistical data published by the Ministry of Tourism, the number of arrivals at the Tunisian borders amounted to 4,810,760, at the end of October 2016, as against 4,653,127 tourists in October 2015 (up 3.4 %) and 6,341,554 in 2015 (down 24.1%).
