Tourist arrivals reached 5.4 million visitors to October 31, 2013, up 5.7% compared to the same period of 2012.
These figures indicate that the number of entries in 2010 has not been reached (- 10.7%), according to the latest statistics of the Tourism Department, reported by TAP.
The first three weeks of October have resulted, according to the ONTT, in a 21.5% increase in European entries compared to 2012, with some 200,000 entries and the four main source markets of tourists to Tunisia, namely France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy, posted respective increases of 12.9%, 4.3%, 38.6% and 49%.
