TerniEnergia, Italy’s leading intelligent energy company operating in renewable energy, confirmed that the contract to build the Tozeur photovoltaic power plant will be signed on March 23, as previously announced by Italian news agency Ansa.
According to the monthly “PV Magazine”, the 10 MW plant mobilized an investment of $ 12.5 million under the contract with the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG), the entity in charge of the management of Tunisia’s renewable energy programme.
The order includes the complete EPC range (engineering, procurement and construction), with the supply of photovoltaic modules and inverters. More than 200 employees will be present at the construction site.
The project includes extensive civil engineering work and an area for experimentation of new technologies.
