Tunisair’s passenger traffic increased by 9.5% in February 2018, while scheduled traffic grew 9.9% from 195,180 to 214,418 passengers, compared to the same period of 2017, according to indicators released by the national carrier on Thursday.
Traffic all activities combined increased from 202,359 to 221,492 passengers, while the charter activity recorded 6,427 passengers thanks to the Umrah traffic.
In addition, the load factor improved from 71.6% in February 2017 to 72.6% in February 2018, up 1.0 point.
Regarding the main markets of Tunisair, according to the geographical division and in terms of regular traffic, the European countries accumulated a share of passenger traffic of 68.9%, i.e. an increase of 4.6%.
African countries, with a passenger traffic share of 16.9%, posted an improvement of 27.5%, while countries of the Middle East, whose share of passenger traffic is 13.4%, saw a rise of 19.3%.
North America (Montreal), which accounted for 0.8% of passenger traffic, posted an increase of 19.0%
