Tunisair passenger traffic grew 5% in November compared to the same period last year with figures rising from 225,439 to 236,732 passengers.
Regular traffic was up 4.2% as passenger numbers edged up to 233,989, while charter traffic increased 141.8% (2,360 passengers against 976).
The passenger load factor rose to 72.3% in November 2018, i.e. 1.8-point improvement compared to the same period last year.
In connection to markets served by the national carrier, European countries with 71.5 % of passenger traffic posted a 0.8% rise.
African countries with a 16.2% share saw their passenger figures grow 8.9%. The Middle East numbers rose 18.7% (i.e. a share of 11.1%) followed by North America (Montreal) with 1.2% of passenger traffic (+58.6%).
The airline’s punctuality worsened from 46% in November 2017 to 53% in the same month in 2018.
