The headquarters of the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA) will host Tuesday, May 15, 2018 the Tunisian-Chinese Business Forum.
This Forum is organized by the Tunisian-Chinese Business Council under the UTICA.
This Council has been created to bring the economic circles of the two countries in the public and private sectors closer and to strengthen cooperation and exchange of expertise between Tunisian and Chinese industrialists and investors and this in both ways.
The program of this event includes well-targeted Networking meetings, a presentation of the economic and commercial cooperation projects between Tunisia and China provided by the new Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia Wang Wenbin, a presentation of China’s investments and financing Africa provided by the Economic Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Tunisia, Zhang Fengling, as well as a Promotion of the China Import Expo, which will take place in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, 2018.
It should be recalled that a delegation of the Tunisian-Chinese Business Council was recently in Beijing where it participated in many events including the “Belt and Road Trade and Investment Forum”.
The Tunisian delegation had, in this context, meetings with Chinese members of the Business Council, as well as with many operators who want to invest in Tunisia or to import Tunisian products such as olive oil.
