The Union Internationale de Banques (UIB) has just published its financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, which will be submitted for approval to the Ordinary General Meeting to be held on April 26, 2024.
At the end of the last financial year, the Bank recorded a net profit of 126.6 million dinars, compared with 132.1 million dinars in 2022, a decrease of 4.2%.
The bank achieved net banking income of 519.5 million dinars (+6%) and operating income of 214.2 million dinars (+0.1%).
Personnel expenses increased by 8% to 187 million dinars, while allocations to provisions rose by 29% to 48.4 million dinars.
Finally, the balance of exceptional tax contributions increased from 6.3 million dinars in 2022 to 14.3 million dinars at the end of 2023, following the recording of a temporary tax in favor of the State budget of 8.1 million dinars last year.
