Tunisia has turned into a medical hub in recent years. More than 400,000 medical tourists from neighboring countries and Europe come to Tunisia every year for treatment, according to data reported by the Tunisian-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Tunisia is already positioning itself as an emerging medical destination. Thanks to its competitive prices and its health infrastructure, which is equal to that of Western countries, it ranks second on the African continent in the field of health tourism, after South Africa.
